We spoke to Ian about his Mitsubishi Delicas 

HOW LONG HAVE YOU OWNED IT

Bought it New Years Eve 2022 so just over 1 year. Wet, cold, and going dark so took a punt and turned out to be a great motor.

Have had Land Rover most of my life but health problems meant I need a camper van... Delica best of both worlds.

DID YOU RESTORE YOUR VEHICLE?

No as didn't need anything but was bog standard... needed shocks etc and as can be seen in piccys have improved it for off road use ...

Had it Lanoguarded by Nomad Macclesfield but life got in the way and couldn't get back for top up so bought a kit and had it done at home.

 DOES YOUR CAR HAVE A NAME?

Gets called plenty that couldn't be published!

HAVE YOU ALWAYS LOVED CARS? HOW DID THAT BEGIN?

Passed test in 1982 in Land Rover and have owned them whenever life has let me.

WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST CAR?

Vauxhall Viva

WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR WEIRDEST ROAD TRIP...

A trip in Fiji maybe ... possibly in jungles of Belize... Canadian prairies...Belize to Can Cun Mexico (before it was famous and had big hotels) far too many to choose from tbh.

CAN WE SEE YOU AT CAR SHOWS?

Did a few Land Rover and off road shows last year (Castlewood 4x4... York Land Rover Show at RCM, Belvoir Castle, Billing etc) and have been a few of the Jap2Jap and Cars and coffee etc... hopefully & health allowing get to some this year. 

WHAT CAR NEXT AND WHY?

No plans to change and hope the Delica outlasts me hence Lanoguard and trying to keep the tin worm at bay.

...AND THE FINAL QUESTION - WHAT WOULD BE YOUR DREAM VEHICLE AND WHY?

 Currently own it but I like to take unusual 4x4s off road so you never know... keep going back to Land Rovers.
