Roughly a year ago, we applied a full Lanoguard underbody treatment to this vintage Jag (watch the application here). Like many older cars, it’s not pampered—it sees regular use, drives in all weathers, and lives the kind of life most classic owners would recognise.

Fast forward 12 months, and we took a proper look underneath.

The verdict?

“It’s looking pretty good, right?”

That’s the first impression—and it's accurate. No flaking, no greasy mess, no drama. Just a solid, still-present coating.

The Water Test: Still Beading Off

One of the simplest ways to check whether Lanoguard is still doing its job is the water beading test. And on this Jaguar, a year in, water still runs straight off the protected areas.

That means the Lanoguard is still creating a barrier, keeping moisture (and the corrosion that follows it) away from the metal.

“Look at that... still beading off. I love it.”

Simple but telling. If water's not sticking, rust won't either.
