Superior long lasting protection for your propeller against corrosion and marine growth, whilst caring for the environment too.
This product has been developed specifically for application to a boat propeller and prop shaft to prevent corrosion and barnacle build up and to keep your propeller clean to ensure its streamline operation and efficient drive and use. Prop-Tection is a non-petroleum grease making it ecologically sound whilst having properties that way out perform standard greases in harsh marine and boating environments.
Being a grease, it can also be used as a very versatile multi-purpose marine environment grease, lubricant and anti seize wherever you would use standard grease. It will last a lot longer, won’t evaporate, will not be displaced by jet washing or stormy weather and it will prevent all electrolysis therefore perform far better than a standard grease you've used before.
Here is an brief video showing what else to do whilst you apply to the propeller too:
So once you have protected your propeller remember to use this for lubrication of pins, bushes, splines, shafts, battery terminals, winches and cables, or as an anti-seize on nuts and bolts preventing galvanic corrosion between dissimilar metals. And because it is natural and non-petroleum, it can be used as rubber grease without fear of perishing too.

Applied to my marine bronze propeller and P-bracket and stainless steel prop shaft after preparing surfaces with 600 wet & dry paper. As it was a warm day in May, there was no need to pre warm the product as it went on very smoothly and easily with a cloth. I will examine the prop etc at the end of the season in October and compare the level of fouling with how I have prepared it in the past with just 600 wet & dry followed by a metal polish.
Fast delivery and good value. It needed some serious warming to get it to a consistency for brushing onto the propeller blades (as expected), and I then used a hair dryer to get it as smooth as possible. I was hoping to use it as a grease for my folding prop, but it is too viscous at lower temperatures.
Despite a personal follow-up email to my order, I got no reply to a question about its suitability as a grease.
Time will tell if it actually prevents growth on the prop. I've tried everything else, so it's worth a try.
Very slightly softer than lanocote I think so easier to apply. Looks like good quality lanolin. Test will be the prop at the end of the season but looking good so far. Much more reasonable price!
I can't write a review because I haven't used it yet but it came very quickly
Very wuick delivery, despite COVID. Easy to apply. All metal stern gear, 2 shafts, 2 x 21” props and both rudders using less than half a 250ml tub. We’ll see what it’s like in the spring.
