Lanoguard Cold Welding seizing prevention and use as Stainless steel grease

Cold welding won’t happen on these fixings

A few weeks ago we received a call from Newhaven Port on behalf of Fugro asking if we could provide a product to prevent cold welding occurring on Generator fixings aboard a large Jackup platform, a sea-works platform. These generator units are installed as “hot swappable” and must be easy to remove in event of failure. And the harsh environment the platform works in means cold welding can happen quickly.

We explained that Lanoguard Grease will do this job very well, they ordered it and we delivered it the same day for a fitting they were doing that day.

Let us know if you need to prevent cold welding or any other seizing or corrosion issues. We’re sure we can help.
